Below are some of the websites used by teachers in the CBI Project. I have also included weblinks shared by other teachers using IWBs

- Snaith Primary School's "Thinking Things" - the sections on History
are particularly good
- Ambleside School in Cumbria has a very useful website. Its 'older' site at http://www.amblesideprimary.com/ambleweb/index.htm is still used by many teachers. The site has lots of links and activities, particularly for Numeracy and Literacy.
- There is a wonderful collection of freeware activities (some online, some downloadable) at http://www.senteacher.org/main/files.php I particularly liked 'Touch Chimes' (for Music). Maths, ICT, Art, English and Science are also covered
- For Literacy, Maths and Science Activities, visit http://www.woodlands-junior.kent.sch.uk/interactive/ (thank you, Peter!). They even have interactive jokes and games!
- Starfall (http://www.starfall.com/) is an excellent resource (good for Literacy and Auditory Discrimination) for young readers.
- Equally good is Scholastic's "Clifford the Big Red Dog: Interactive Storybooks" at http://teacher.scholastic.com/clifford1/flash/phonics/index.htm
- ActivityVillage http://www.activityvillage.co.uk/ has colouring pages, educational resources, kids crafts, puzzles, printables, Sudoku etc.
- I am very happy to link to SeomraRanga http://www.seomraranga.com because (a) it links to us! and (b) it has a wealth of resources for the Irish classroom. Most of the resources are Doc or PDFs but can readily adapted for CBI. Many thanks to the Teacher behind this site.
- Teachnet at www.teachnet.ie is a great place to see how other Irish teachers have implemented an ICT-enabled approach in their classrooms
- Topmarks http://topmarks.co.uk/ has IWB resources for a range of subjects. There may be a UK bias, but useful nonetheless. Many are Flash which means they are not IWB platform specific.
- Coxhoe Primary School in Durham has provided an excellent set of subject-specific links. Again, the bias is UK (e.g. PSHE instead of our SPHE) but this is a list many of our teachers use as their preferred Internet Portal ...see http://www.coxhoe.durham.sch.uk/Curriculum/Curriculum.htm
- PrimaryGames sells a range of curriculum CDs. However, much of their material is available (if watermarked) online at http://www.primarygames.co.uk/
- Crickweb has Flash-based resources at http://www.crickweb.co.uk for Maths, English, Science, History, Geography, R.E., D.T., I.C.T, French and Spanish
- The Welsh NGfL 'Virtual Teaching Centre' at http://www.ngfl-cymru.org.uk/vtc-home has resources for Early Years, KS1 and KS2 (and upwards). These are generally Flash based, such as the CVC Machine
- Use a Gaming Approach! Multiplication.com at http://multiplication.com/interactive_games.htm has plenty of entertainment and, hopefully, an equal share of education! The site also has PDF Flashcards
- Primary Resources is another UK site that shares lots of Flash resources, mainly for English, Maths and Science (but the online Drum Kit is great too!) ...see http://www.primaryinteractive.co.uk/index.htm
- Math Exercises For Kids at www.math-exercises-for-kids.com provides a set of Javascript resources. Plenty of sums to keep the students working!
- For Online Racing Games - based on Arithmetic - visit http://www.arcademicskillbuilders.com/
- The Blobz Guide to Electric Circuits is online at http://www.andythelwell.com/blobz/ (this site uses Flash). There is also a very good guide (a research dissertation?) to the pedagogical theory behind the Blobz site at http://www.andythelwell.com/blobz/documents/BlobzGuide_Report.pdf

(very nice for DnD to re-assemble, e.g., the skeleton)
