Classroom Resources for use with SMART Notebook software: As part of our CBI Project, the teachers in the Project created a number of files. Since the Project ended, teachers continue to develop and share files. These files are for classroom, non-commercial use; please respect the teachers' copyright. A resource can take two hours to produce: if you use more than one of these resources, I insist(!) that you create and share your own resource(s): please email these to davidk@ict4schools.ie ....Ní neart go cur le chéile :-)


Note that you must have SMART software installed on your computer in order to read these files...you can download a thirty-day trial of SMART Notebook from http://www2.smarttech.com/us/Support/Browse+Support/Download+Software (choose from Windows, Mac or Linux versions) ...or you could use the free SMART Notebook Express software (also available from the same page). Note that you do not need to register on this CBIproject website in order to access our resources.


Promethean's ActivInspire and Mimio Studio (and perhaps others) can also 'read' these SMART files (.xbk and .notebook in the case of Promethean and .notebook in the case of Mimio Studio).


Equally, users of SMART Notebook software will also be able to open files ...

In some cases we have also saved an html version of the file which will open in your Browser (opens in a new window; you will have to 'allow blocked content' and you will also be asked to download the SVGviewer for your first html file).
